Note | Obituary, 13 Aug 1992: Anna Ringler Staples -- Anna Ringler, 83, Staples, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1992, at the United District Hospital in Staples. She was born March 22, 1909, in St. Charles [Winona Co., MN], to William and Lena Wiskow. She attended school in St. Charles and moved with her family to Elba [Winona Co.]. She married Leo Ringler onFeb. 10, 1928, in Winona. They worked in Staples and in 1947 they moved to a farm north of Motley. In 1969, she moved to Motley and continued to work at the Mary Rondorf Home until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Luthern Church and its ladies groups. Survivors include three sons, Dallis Ringler, Atwater, Chester Ringler, Saples, and Gary Ringler, Pillager; two brothers, Norman Wiskow and Emmanuel Wiskow both of St. Charles; three sisters, Viola Witt, Ontario, Wis.; Grace Beneditt and Ruby Wiskow, both of St. Charles; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, a son, two grandsons, two sisters, and three brothers died earlier. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Staples with the Rev. Alvin Jeske officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. |
