Note | ST. CHARLES -- The funeral for Mary M. Wiskow will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Berea Moravian Church in rural St. Charles, with the Rev. John Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wiskow, 68, of St. Charles, a retired employee of Camera Art in Lewiston, died Friday (Nov. 5, 1993) at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Mary M. Schoaf was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Owatonna, and married Emmanuel Wiskow on June 29, 1943. After her husband's discharge from the military service, they farmed in rural St. Charles until 1975 when they retired from farming and moved into town. Mrs. Wiskow worked for Camera Art for 17 years before her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Berea Moravian Church and its ladies aid, a memberand past president of the St. Chalres VFW Auxiliary, and past president and 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors include her husband; four sons, Dan of Circle Pines, Minn., Roger and Kendall, both of St. Charles, and Kim of Rochester; three daughters, Sandra Wiebusch of Rochester, Debra (Mrs. Ronald) Bemmert of St. Charles and Sheila (Mrs. Roger) Freerksen of Dodge Center; 23 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Leo Schoaf of Owatonna. A brother preceded her in death. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles and an hour before the service Tuesday at the church |
